What is the Event Committee?

The Event Committee is in charge of brainstorming, organizing, planning, and executing social events for our church. Our goal is to have an event every month that helps all of us stay connected. We plan different events that appeal to all audiences. Events are planned for our church, but they are open to anyone in the community: our family, our friends, or anyone who is interested in participating.

This ministry team provides fellowship and connections. It also provides an opportunity for the congregation, friends, family, etc. to socialize, have fun, and become connected with each other on a different level than what you experience on Sundays in church.

Who can be on the Event Committee?

The Event Committee can be anyone, including you!  There are no limits on thesNOW tUBING number of people who can participate or join. If you are looking for a way to get involved and get plugged in, this is a great team of folks who help organize the social life of our church. Furthermore, if you are looking for leadership this team will give you the chance to choose an event that you are passionate about and plan it, all the way from brainstorming to execution! This ministry team is very fluid, you can choose what level of involvement you would like.

We are one of the largest ministry teams at PPMCC because some people are interested in some events and not others. We need a variety of skill sets so if you are creative, an organizer, artistic, or interested in setting up, taking down, then we need you!

While we always have events on the calendar, we are also always working to plan new and exciting things. This ministry team is truly a team, and we are always open to new ideas and suggestions that are brought to us.

Fellowship is a key component of any church, and we try to ensure that there are plenty of opportunities for our church members to connect with each other outside of worships services. The majority of our events are for this purpose. We have barbeques, ice cream socials, tubing trips, holiday parties, and more for this reason.
