Pikes Peak Metropolitan Community Church

Reception following sponsored by Southern Colorado Health Network

Conceived in 1987, World AIDS Day, observed December 1 each year, is dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection. Worldwide, the day is recognized with rallies, memorials and other events to honor persons who have died from AIDS as well as raise awareness of the disease and spread messages of prevention. Since 1981, more than 25 million people have died of AIDS and more than 33 million are currently living with the disease. Despite recent improved access to antiretroviral treatment and care in many regions of the world, AIDS continues to be one of the worst pandemics in human history.

Christmas Caroling – December 18

Please join us on Sunday, December 18 after worship service as we gather at the Union Printer’s Home to bring some holiday cheer! We will sing Christmas Carols for Union Printer’s Home residents.

This is always a great time. Everyone is welcome to join us! You don’t have to be a part of the band or even know how to hold a tune. The church will provide caroling booklets with the lyrics of each song.

We will leave after our worship service and meet at the Union Printer’s Home at 12 pm. Children are welcome to attend.
