PPMCC is hosting a Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD) session, a crisis intervention designed to help mitigate the traumatic impact of the incident that occurred during the sermon on Sunday, December 8. The session aims to foster connection among those who shared the experience, offering support to enhance physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Additionally, it seeks to restore the sanctuary as a safe and sacred space for authentic worship, inclusive spirituality, and meaningful relationships. This will be facilitated by Cristal L. McGill, Ph.D., Psychologist.

Critical incidents are events that fall outside our usual experiences and challenge our ability to understand and cope with what has occurred. This group debriefing offers participants an opportunity to share their experiences and find support in a structured environment.
