Water Bottles for Our Neighbors

Westside Cares (WSC), which serves many unhoused  and low-income neighbors on the Westside, is attempting to cut costs and be more environmentally conscious by moving from giving out bottled water to refilling reusable water bottles. To make that happen, WSC will need donations of many new and used reusable water bottles.

If you can donate water bottles, you may drop them off on the shelves to the right of the church’s front door on Sundays or during regular church office hours. You may also text or call (719) 238-9467 to arrange a drop-off on the Westside at other times. PPMCC is part of a coalition of more than 20 churches that supports Westside Cares, which provides several services for our unhoused neighbors and a population often called the working poor. WSC serves people in the area west of I-25 and is always looking for more volunteers.

Here are other donations that Do Unto Others is seeking that support either WSC or the food pantry in Divide, and they can be dropped off in the locations explained above:

  • Egg cartons
  • Plastic shopping bags
  • Clear, amber-colored prescription bottles
  • Adult Jeans
  • Adult Shoes/Socks
  • New Underwear
  • Hygiene Items
  • Laundry Detergent

Thank you for being so supportive,

Trudy
