The Children’s Church Ministry at PPMCC works with children ages 4-10. Our lessons are taught during the sermon portion of the Sunday church service. Elizabeth Ford, an elementary music teacher in district 20, is the director of this program. She oversees the classes, which are taught by congregants of the church. Your child will be treated to multiple programs and activities during their lesson time because each teacher is encouraged to tailor their lessons to their own strengths. A few examples of some things that the teachers have done include: the students have painted with an art teacher, sung and danced with a music teacher, and planned ways to become more involved in our church with a former French teacher.

That said, we realize that there are many churches offering Sunday school classes. Ours is anything but average. We offer classes in an environment that embraces all family structures. Your child will feel just as comfortable here whether they’ve grown up in church or if this is their first experience. As a congregation, we are committed to asking questions instead of being supplied with answers. This attitude is carried over into our Children’s programming.
