Sunday Mornings @ 10:00 am

At PPMCC worship is the main event!  It involves telling stories, singing praise and trust and hope, sorrow and joy, delight and wonder.  Worship trains us in lamenting, confessing, adoring, and lifting our cries for the whole world.  Worship presents a vision of life created, sustained, redeemed and held in the mystery of grace.  It schools us in the ways of seeing the world and of being in it.

Our 10:00am worship service is a blended style of worship.  In an effort to ensure a connection with God for everyone, worship includes traditional liturgies, praise and worship music, and Communion (Eucharist, The Lord’s Supper).  Children are welcome here, no matter how squiggly they may get!

Because most people did not grow up in Metropolitan Community Churches (our denomination was only founded in 1968), one of the values we express in worship is “unity without uniformity and diversity without division.”  We come together from a variety of backgrounds for worship, recognizing that we did not all grow up “doing worship” the same way.  We value the unity Christ prayed for in John 17 so much that we are willing to be flexible for the sake of being together.  Some elements of worship come from Baptist backgrounds, some from Catholic, and some from other denominations along the spectrum.  By blending them together we celebrate the best from all traditions.

We have plenty of parking available around our building. Children of all ages are welcome here–no matter how squiggly they might get. Most Sundays we have Children’s Church available for our youngest ones. We have a praise band and sing contemporary Christian worship songs.

Can’t make the service or would you like to see what a worship service is like?  Live stream our service each week live on our Facebook Page beginning at 10:am.
