In these troubled times we face a double challenge. We must meet the demands of our personal lives and also respond to this nation’s profound political and, even more so, spiritual crisis.
Will we find the spiritual resilience and the spiritual resistance for that fight?
Drawing on the rich traditions of the Black Church and Civil Rights movement, Rev. Otis Moss III’s book, “Dancing in the Darkness,” offers us tools for our spiritual toolbox to face the world as it is today. He challenges us to keep our eyes on the goals that serve our highest values AND find both the courage and self-control to achieve them.
On this Christmas Eve, we gather to remember how the light of God’s love, brought to us through Jesus, continues to shine in the world and inspires us for our journey in 2024.
