Pikes Peak MCC is devastated by the news of the shooting on November 19, 2022 at Club Q in Colorado Springs. We are concerned about the reports of scamming or inaccurate statements by organizations claiming to raise funds for the victims of the Club Q shooting. Our only goal is that 100% of all funds donated go to the victims themselves or their loved ones, and not administrative costs or staff salaries.
At this time we cannot recommend any other funding sites because we have not been able to confirm they are giving 100% of each donation to the victims. We have already received donations for the Club Q victims and will continue to receive them. We are holding on to these funds until we can make sure the funds are going directly to the victims.
